AniTala Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an AniTala account or using any associated services you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not access or use the platform.

2. Account Eligibility & Security

You must be at least 13 years old and capable of forming a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@anitala.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating or updating your profile.
• Use AniTala for lawful purposes and respect the rights, safety, and privacy of others.
• Only upload content you own or have explicit permission to share. You retain ownership of your submissions but grant AniTala a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute your content to operate the service.
• Do not post harmful, misleading, or inappropriate material, including spam, malware, or offensive content.

4. Platform Use & Restrictions

AniTala provides tools for plant identification, community mapping, and harvest sharing. You agree not to misuse these features, reverse engineer the platform, circumvent security measures, or attempt unauthorized data extraction. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Community Contributions

Community-sourced data (including geotags, plant identifications, and harvest listings) is reviewed but may not always be independently verified. Use the information responsibly and at your own risk. Respect fellow community members and follow the AniTala Community Guidelines when engaging in discussions or transactions.

6. Transactions & Donations

Certain features enable peer-to-peer exchanges or donations. AniTala is not a party to these transactions and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed. Participants are responsible for complying with any applicable laws, regulations, or permits required in their locality.

7. Intellectual Property

The AniTala name, logo, design elements, and software are owned by or licensed to AniTala and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute platform materials without prior written consent.

8. Service Changes & Availability

We continually update AniTala and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with or without notice. We aim to minimize disruption but are not liable for any downtime or loss of data. Regularly back up your important content.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

AniTala is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use AniTala in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your profile settings or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination your right to use the platform ceases immediately, but relevant sections of these Terms will continue to apply.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform or via email. Continued use of AniTala after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
